Uno dei momenti più attesi del panorama cinematografico è arrivato: le nominations agli Oscar. Oggi alle 14:22 (ora italiana) tramite una live stream dal Samuel Goldwyn Theater,  sono state rese note le candidature agli Oscar del 2018. Dopo una clip commemorativa per i 90 anni dalla nascita degli Oscar, ogni categoria è stata introdotta da breve video di presentazione con protagoniste sole donne, tra cui: Zoe Saldana, Rosario Dawson, Gal Gadot, Michelle Yeoh, Michelle Rodriguez, Priyanka Chopra e Rebel Wilson. I film con più candidature sono: The Shape Of Water (13 candidature)  Dunkirk (con 8 candidature); Tre Manifesti ad Ebbing, Missouri (con 7 candidature). La cerimonia di premiazione andrà in onda sull’ABC, domenica 4 marzo, con la conduzione di Jimmy Kimmel.
